Identikit
‘Making the virtual you a little more real’.
Identikit is a fictional company providing products that allow customers to take their
virtual identities with them into the real world. The company’s brand identity was
designed along with a working prototype website which allows customers turn their
MySpace, Friendster and Bebo profiles into real world goods for different
situations such as a t-shirt for the weekend, a tie for work or
bed sheets for the home.
Nature of Presence in Digital and Non-Physical Space
Identikit is part of the Nature of Presence project addressing the needs and desires of people to create presence in digital and non-physical space. Design concepts were used probe and illustrate found thinking and research.
