Digital Smell – 2008.Ongoing

Digital Smell – a collaboration with Nelly Ben Hayoun.

A project examining developments in Lab-on-a-Chip nanotechnology that allows electronic products to have a digital sense of smell.

The first stage in the project created three device experiences that entertain with the concept of nano scale. Later two smell experiments were conducted during the second stage of the project to explore and generate content from found research.

Digital Smell communicates possible future situations from current scientific thinking in a entertaining and provoking yet accessibly way.
