My World – 2005

Virtual World Interface.

My World is an interface for a limitless virtual world using geographical metaphors.

Instead of having web pages gather dust My World pages live on. Remembering peoples paths and allowing them to interact with, manipulate and even own some virtual space.

An early prototype version of the engine was adapted to hold a short ‘trends in interactive storytelling’ research project. A later version was then used as a gallery site at the 2005 Cannes Lions Festival, now unfortunately (and somewhat ironically) offline.
